Announcing: Display Values in Options-Based Questions

Sometimes you want to show your field users a user-friendly thing to enter, but your back-end system needs a specific value. It’s a dilemma ProntoForms has addressed using the Data Sources, and the Multi-Column View and Default Sort Options for Data Sources, but until now, only Button Group questions had the ability to display a user-friendly value while sending a particular value to your back-end systems for ease of integration.

Now you can build scoring using a dropdown, multi-select, or any other options-based question, while still making your field users’ lives easy with user-friendly display values. Or, if there’s a piece of jargon you know your field users prefer, but your back-end system needs a specific term, you can set the display value to the jargon while not losing accuracy with your home systems.
