It's time for a new chapter
In the coming months, we will be transitioning our brand to TrueContext to better reflect the sophistication of our platform.
Rest assured that beyond the name change and color scheme, nothing else will change with our product or pricing structure.
Timeline:
From November 22nd, you will start to see visual changes in the ProntoForms app.
Downloadable assets
We have prepared an email template that you can use to communicate this change to your technicians.
FAQ
General
Why are you changing your name? Why TrueContext?
We are transitioning our brand to TrueContext to better reflect the sophistication of our platform and the value of what we do for field service environments across the globe.
Have you been acquired by another company?
No, ProntoForms has not been part of any merger or acquisition. The name change is a reflection of our product evolution.
Will there be any interruption in service during this transition?
No. There will be no interruption to the service of either mobile applications or our online portal during this transition.
Will my login information change?
No. Users can continue to login to the mobile app or online portal with their existing username and password or SSO account. While the existing login URL will continue to function, a new login URL will be available at live.truecontext.com. The login button on the homepage also leads here.
Will your contact details change?
All our emails will move to truecontext.com addresses, so please look out for emails from TrueContext. Emails sent to our old prontoForms.com addresses will still reach us. To ensure that you continue to receive emails from TrueContext, kindly add our domain to your safe senders list.
Mobile App
Will there be changes to the app?
App changes are visual only and do not affect functionality. Here’s what the new icon will look like.
End-users will receive the app update through their usual method, which may depend on how their IT department manages updates for mobile devices.
This rebrand will update the existing application – no need to uninstall and reinstall a different app.
Login information will stay the same. Users can continue to log in with their existing username and password or SSO credential.
Do technicians need to delete ProntoForms and download a new app?
No. Technicians do not need to delete the ProntoForms app. Changes to the app icon, name, branding within the app will be introduced as upgrades to installed apps.
Will there be changes to the app on my device?
The app update rollout will begin on November 28, so users may start seeing changes on their mobile devices from that day. The orange ProntoForms checkmark will be replaced by the yellow TrueContext orb. The app will continue to be called ProntoForms until March 1, 2024, after which it will transition to the TrueContext name. Further communications will be sent to keep mobile app users updated.
TIP: As of March 1, 2024, you can find the app on your mobile device by searching for “TrueContext” or scrolling through the menu to the yellow orb.
Where will the new app be on public and enterprise app stores?
The rebranded app is already available on public and enterprise app stores under the TrueContext banner.
How will this be communicated to technicians?
A communications package that can be easily scaled across teams within your organization will be available to download shortly.
Live Portal
What about the live portal? Should we expect changes in the way we build forms and workflows?
No. The process of creating, revising, and deploying workflows will not be affected as all changes are visual only.
Will domains and URLs be changing for the applications?
Yes. We will gradually introduce domains that reflect the new company name (i.e., live.prontoForms.com will become live.truecontext.com). Other aspects of our product URLs (such as URL strings) will remain the same.
Integrations
How will scripts and configurations that I have for my integrations and automations be affected?
To support existing integrations, we will keep some domains, URLs, and code as "prontoforms" or "pf". This applies to the integrations listed here, for example:
https://docs.prontoforms.com/1374411/Content/LandingPages/IntegrateWithOtherSystems.htm
This also applies to the document types listed here:
https://docs.prontoforms.com/1374411/Content/LandingPages/DocumentFormatsIntegrations.htm
You do not need to change existing integrations or output documents.
What about app-to-app integration?
There will be a new domain for use in app-to-app integrations, which will be communicated to your development/IT teams once finalized. The intention is to continue to support prontoForms:// and https://prontoFor.ms indefinitely (same as with the domains used for portal, form builder, web forms).
Will the emails I get from the system change?
On Nov 28, 2023 the default sender for all emails sent by the product will change from donotreply@prontoforms.com → donotreply@truecontext.com
As well, any use of ProntoForms in email subjects will be changed to TrueContext.
Any automation that depends on the sender or the subject containing ProntoForms will need to be updated.
Legal and Finance
Are you only changing your brand or also your legal name?
We are changing the legal name of both our operating company, ProntoForms Inc., and our parent and publicly-listed company, ProntoForms Corporation. We are also changing our branding from ProntoForms to TrueContext. We are going to do this in stages to help us manage the process. First, ProntoForms Inc. will change its name to TrueContext Inc. Following this name change, our contracts, policies and invoices will use the new name and branding. A few weeks thereafter, we will relaunch our website using the new name and branding. ProntoForms Corporation will change its name to TrueContext Corporation, and our ticker symbol on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX-V) will change to TCXT. We will be making further announcements as these are completed. Our corporate structure and financial reporting will otherwise remain the same.
When will the name change happen?
We are planning to change the legal name of ProntoForms Inc. to TrueContext Inc. on November 3, 2023 and the legal name of ProntoForms Corporation to TrueContext Corporation on November 28, 2023. The TCXT ticker symbol will go live on the TSX Venture Exchange (TSX-V) a few days later. We will make a public announcement for each of the legal name changes once
the legal name change has been completed. Please note these dates only pertain to the legal aspect of the transition.
Does the name change affect our contracts or agreements?
We will not need to change any contracts entered into before the effective date of the name change. Links in our existing contracts and agreements to URLs that use the ProntoForms name will continue to work. Contracts entered into after the name change will reflect the TrueContext name. Also, we will be changing our legal name on our public policies such as our privacy policy.
How will the name change affect invoicing, payments, and remittances?
Following the name change, our invoices will use our new name, TrueContext Inc., as well as our new branding. Our new invoices will have our new bank account name. We will proactively be reaching out to your accounting team with additional details and resources. Payments to our old bank account name will continue to be received. For a period of time following the name change, we will note the old name on the invoice to assist in this regard.
Will your contact details change?
All our emails will move to truecontext.com addresses, so please so look out for emails from TrueContext. Emails sent to our old prontoForms.com addresses will still reach us.
Do I need to do anything?
The name change doesn’t require anything from our customers other than to keep an eye out for us under our new name.
Have a question that we didn’t address? Please feel free to reach out to us at support@prontoforms.com
