Question
I have a text field with Integer data type in which I need to include leading zeroes. At this point, the leading zeroes are not holding. How can that be formatted to make that happen?
Answer
Text Fields with the 'Integer' Data type display a numeric keypad, and they do not hold the leading zeroes, as they consider the input only as numbers and leading zeroes are not required when denoting a number. If you need to have the leading zeroes displayed in the field, you could add the field as a 'Text' Data type and that would display a Standard keyboard, and the leading zeroes will be considered as part of the text and it will hold. However, you can configure Free Text data types to use the Numeric keypad.
