The following section describes in detail each of the steps in the process.
Steps to convert V1-specific documents to V2
-
Determine if your document is V1-specific.
Go to MANAGE FORMS > Documents.
Result: The Documents page opens with a list of all the documents in your current FormSpace. The Version column indicates V1-specific documents, as shown in the following example.
Tip:Remember to repeat this step for each FormSpace where you have V1 forms and documents.
Is your document V1-specific?
-
If yes, go to step 2.
-
If no, you don’t need to convert it. You can copy the document to your target FormSpace, and then attach it to any V2 form in the same FormSpace.
-
-
Determine the body layout.
Refer to the Body Layout column in the Excel report to check your document’s body layout.
Does your V1-specific Document have a standard layout?
-
If yes, go to step 3.
-
If no, contact your Customer Success Manager for assistance.
Note:You can only convert V1-specific documents with a standard body layout.

Before you convert your document, you must have it in the same FormSpace as the V2 forms you want to attach it to. You can do one of the following:
- Move the document to the desired FormSpace.
- Copy the document to the new FormSpace, and then convert the document. We recommend this option because you can refer to the original document if needed.

Go to MANAGE FORMS > Documents, and then select the V1 document you want to convert.

Select EDIT DOCUMENT.
