Steps to Migrate from V1 Forms to V2

1. Decide on the FormSpace for your new V2 forms.

   Do you want to use an existing FormSpace?

   • If yes, remember that all users with access to the FormSpace can access your converted forms.

   • If no, create a new FormSpace.

2. Link user groups to your FormSpace as needed. Users in those groups will have access to your converted forms.

3. Do you have dynamic Data Sources that you want to keep using with your V2 forms?

   • If yes, assign the target FormSpace to your Data Source connection.

   • If no, go to the next step.

4. Convert any documents that you want to keep using with your V2 forms and copy them to the FormSpace.

   Do you want to link your documents to all your converted V2 forms?

   • If yes, configure your documents to auto-link to all new forms.

   • If no, go to the next step.

5. Copy or re-create in the FormSpace any Data Destinations that you want to keep using with your V2 forms.

   Do you want to link your Data Destinations to all your converted V2 forms?

   • If yes, configure your Data Destinations to auto-link to all new forms.

   • If no, go to the next step.

6. Convert your V1 forms to V2 forms.

   Do you want to make your forms available to all the users with FormSpace permissions?

   • If yes, deploy your form.

   • If no, keep your form as a draft. Users with Can Test permissions can test the form before you deploy it.
